Rivets are a recent addition to my designing process and I can't get enough of them. They've been finding ways into all my recent draw ups on handles, corners, and flaps. They really add a lot to a handmade bag. In my opinion they step things up a notch getting that much closer to a truly professional "can't tell this was handmade" bag.
I've been wanting to add quick bag making tutorials to my blog for a while now and I knew that rivets would be a great first one for me. They are truly easy, but can be a bit intimidating as often times the tiny package they come in have no directions or even a hint on how to install.
So if you've been fearful to try these, then this is for you. Check out my step by step tutorial and you'll show those rivets who's boss! I've included LOTS of color photos and a few of my personal tips and tricks to get the job done.
